kalimera,

I have the slideshow installed and i notice a few things. [ in IE ]

1- if i use it with standard joomla template its whole appearance looks terrible.
its all the way to the top messing up all the template design.
with this template there are no "browser" errors but it looks like nothing can be clicked to..

2- if i use template colormatic it behaves better.
the image links,numbers,play button links etc...can be touched and they work.

So the big problem is using it in IE 7,then it messes up the slideshow.

it gives an error like ..." this bla bla bla methode is not supported by this object"..
and it also disables my top tab in colormatic.

I tried it several times,uninstalled it,installed it again...

Any way to solve this?

Edit : after some debuggin i found out that the below doesnt work well together with the slideshow :

/js/mootools.v1.00.js
/js/rt_tools_packed.js
/js/slimbox.js

(javascript code is not posted but includes these 3)

Any solution to this?

(huh ..posted this 11 hours ago , still no reply..and as greece is 1 hour ahead of me they must be in bed by now...that sucks.)

I really like the new template, but unfortunately the same javascript error still occurs.

Is the update just a module? or is it the component also as i didnt notice that in the email.

Anyway, for the time being i've disabled SlimBox until i can resolve it.

@s23
The update concerns the module only.

@Yamada
Such remarks are not helpful, really. The fact that FPSS did not work with your template, does not mean that what we made is crap. For all I know, your site could be flooded with a gazillion javascript based extensions. Come on man!

@all
The colormatic template is based on Mootools. Mootools conflicts with moo.fx on which FPSS is based, only in IE. In May we will be launching a Mootools version of FPSS as well to once and for all eliminate such incompatibilities.  Wink

The problem I'm having in IE with fpslideshow and the colormatic template from rockettheme is that drop down control panel. It's not showing the caption on the tab, nor is the control panel dropping down.

When I go to another page that fpslideshow isn't on, the control panel works fine.

Is there a way to fix this? I hope there is because things like the front page slide show and the drop down control panel both need to be on the front page together..
